Making Bread

The seed has been milled to flour, yeast has be proofed and added along with all the wet ingredients. Well kneaded. Now set out to rise for an hour or so.

You milled your own flour?

I've been thinking about making a wood fired oven in my backyard to bake bread in. Just to have the aroma float around my neighborhood just to piss my neighbours off. lol I was doing some service work up a pole and this SOB had his Greek oven cooking bread out in his backyard while I was there. It was the most excruciating torture I've ever endured.

First rise is done, nicely doubled in size. Now to knead it back down and let it rise a second time. Yes, the smell of happy yeast is filling the house!

Second rising is done. Turned out and knead by hand. Roll in mill siftings and put in pans. Now to let 'em rise a third time.
